Preparation & Submission of Manuscripts for the
National Grazing Lands Coalition’s
6th National Conference on Grazing Lands, December 13th-16th, 2015

Submit papers camera ready via online submission form at www.grazinglands.org.
- MS Word, Office 2007 version or later (.doc or .docx file extensions)
- Apple’s “Pages” software (.pages file extension).
- Adobe Acrobat PDF document submitted WITH one of the above.
- Power Point presentations.
- MS Excel Spreadsheets WITHOUT separate, supporting MS Word or Pages document.
- Adobe Acrobat PDF document WITHOUT an editable MS Word or Pages document.
- Name, address, phone, fax and email of the principal author should be a footnote at the bottom of the first page.
- Upload papers via the online submission form at www.grazinglands.org by November 30th, 2015.
Papers will be published as presented. All papers will be spell checked and edited in appearance for uniformity. Submission of an Adobe Acrobat (.PDF) version of the manuscript in addition to a MS Word or Pages version is required to ensure your paper’s layout is as intended (ie: tables or graphics are placed in the appropriate locations).
Online Manuscript Submission.
Submit papers camera ready via our online submission form at www.grazinglands.org. Find “Grazing Conference” in the top menu bar and in the drop down menu you will see “Speakers, Sponsors, Trade Show.” Under this drop down menu you will see “Submit Manuscript.” Click on “Submit Manuscript.”
Fill out the form and drop your paper into the drop box. Be sure to include the required file formats for your paper (one an Adobe .pdf AND the other either a Word .doc or .docx file OR Pages document). Please select Oral Presentation or Poster Presentation. If you have an oral presentation, select which day you are assigned to present: Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. If you have multiple papers you will need to complete a separate submission for each one. Files should be scanned prior to uploading with anti-virus software.

File names MUST be in the following format: Last name-First name.doc (of the lead author’s name)
If more than one paper is submitted then use: Last name-First name-Title of Presentation.doc
The maximum length of papers is 6,000 words (about 9 pages). As an approximation, each full manuscript page of single spaced text, tables or figures, is the equivalent of about 650 words. Note that you will be allocated about 20 minutes for your presentation, and another 5 minutes for questions, and 5 minutes to transition to the next speaker, unless you have worked with us on a different format.
