Event Details

The National Grazing Lands Coalition (NatGLC) cordially invites you to Cowboy Up for Conservation, an evening of libations and fellowship celebrating the heritage and bright future of stewarding the nation’s grazing lands. This event will be held on April 11, 2025 at GRACE restaurant near the Fort Worth Convention Center from 5:00-7:00pm during the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Annual Convention. The event will benefit the NatGLC and their Mission to provide voluntary ecologically and economically sound management across all grazing lands for their adaptive uses and multiple benefits to the environment and society through science-based technical assistance, research and education.

That National Grazing Lands Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit association led by grazing producers from across the country. For more than 30 years, the NatGLC has been producer-led and producer-focused to bring the latest tools and approaches to the grazing producers who own or manage hundreds of millions of acres across the U.S. This stewardship footprint carries great responsibility for the land, air, water, wildlife, and economies it supports. It is based on a strong heritage of leaving the land in better condition than one received it. Texas ranchers are proud of their heritage, and work hard every day in order to pass this responsibility on to the next generation. For the nation’s land stewards to continue to provide these benefits to all of us, it is imperative the NatGLC continues to provide high quality educational and mentorship opportunities.

Historically, the NatGLC has been entirely funded by federal grants, using those public dollars to put technical assistance and conservation practices on the ground in the most efficient way possible. However, public conservation funding is being questioned, freezing this important work, and leaving grazing producers without the support they need. The NatGLC needs conservation champions like you to support its work through a financial contribution. As a non-profit charitable organization, your generosity to the NatGLC may be tax deductible.

The April 11th event will be one to remember. Influential Texas cattlemen, industry leaders, and social media influencers will be in attendance to discuss the critical need for technical assistance and share stories about life on the ranch. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served. We sincerely appreciate your passion for the grazing industry, and your willingness to Cowboy Up for Conservation! RSVP and/or donate below.

What Our Partners Say

“Adapting my grazing management strategy has allowed me to increase my economic gain, while also reducing my environmental impact. I’ve been doing rotational grazing for over 60 years, and every year something else changes. Early on, I was able to reintroduce a true tall grass prairie on my operation and that has both increased the wildlife biodiversity and the quality and efficiency of the land. The technical assistance I have received from NatGLC as part of the Legacy Landscapes program has been tremendous. Just knowing that there is someone there to step in and help if I need it is valuable.”

Rooter Brite, Texas Rancher

“Enriched Ag sees enormous value in the NatGLC. We work together to explore and develop new approaches to grazing management using technology. Their group of experts help promote and advance the conservation, rural livelihoods, and the beef industry. We appreciate how they bring together diverse stakeholders and tackle tough problems on grazing lands.”
