The Sustainable Rangelands Roundtable’s web-based ranch sustainability assessment tool builds on a hardcopy sustainable ranch management assessment framework developed several years ago, available at http://www.sustainablerangelands.org/ranchassessment/pdf/ranch_guidebook_B1216.pdf. The online assessment tool should allow ranchers to quickly, easily, and voluntarily respond to assessment questions and receive a “score” based on values for each question that they answer. Ranchers can take this online assessment confidentially, and as frequently as they would like to, with the ability to refer back to past scores if they logged into the platform.
