Who We Are

The National Grazing Lands Coalition is a Nation-wide Nonprofit Providing High Quality Technical Assistance on Privately Owned Grazing Lands

Founded in 1991, The National Grazing Lands Coalition (NatGLC), formerly the Grazing Lands Conservative Initiative (GLCI), provides high-quality technical assistance on privately owned grazing lands on a voluntary basis. The NatGLC works to increase the awareness of the importance of grazing land resources.

The NatGLC is carried out through coalitions of individuals and organizations functioning at the local, state, regional and national levels. The coalitions include livestock producer organizations, scientific and professional grazing resource organizations, conservation and environmental groups, and state and federal natural resource and agriculture agencies.

Our mission is to provide voluntary ecologically and economically sound management of all grazing lands for their adaptive uses and multiple benefits to the environment and society through science-based technical assistance, research and education.
