SCHOLARSHIP opportunities

Conference Scholarships

Multiple opportunities exist for conference attendees to receive financial assistance with conference registration. Please review the current information below and check back regularly, as we will update this page as more opportunities become available.

NCBA Rancher Resilience Grant

The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association administers the Rancher Resilience Grant, which is designed to support cattle producers’ attendance at impactful educational events. The application is a simple web form (linked below), and qualifying producers will receive reimbursement for registration and housing costs. Other requirements and details include:

-Deadline to apply: at least 21 days prior to the event (November 13, 2024)

-Attendance at the event is mandatory for reimbursement eligibility

-One grant per household

-Producers will be notified via email within fourteen business days of application submission with details of the approved reimbursement amount.

-Upon notification above, producers must complete cow-calf, stocker and backgrounder OR feedyard modules available on the USRSB website and submit certificate of completion.

-To successfully receive your reimbursement, the following items must be submitted within 30-days of the event:

  • A selfie photo of yourself at the event that shows you with some event signage
  • Completed W-9 form
  • Certificate of completion of the USRSB module

Apply for the Lynn Myers/Hezekiah Gibson Producer Memorial Scholarship

The National Grazing Lands Coalition is proud to offer the Lynn Myers/Hezekiah Gibson Producer Memorial Scholarship for 9NGLC. This scholarship will provide two producers with $500 to cover some of the costs associated with attending the conference. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is October 15, 2024. Scholarship recipients will be notified by November 15, 2024.
