Introducing Addison Lindsey, a Marketing and Communications Intern and Agricultural Communications major at Mississippi State University. Raised in the small town of Pelahatchie, Mississippi, Addison grew up surrounded by agriculture and the strong sense of community it creates. From rodeoing with the MSLBRA and showing cattle through 4-H to serving as the Mississippi FFA State Reporter, her experiences sparked a love for storytelling, leadership, and connecting people to the industry that shaped her.
In her role, Addison supports the marketing and communications team through social media, design projects, event support, research, outreach, and administrative work. Always eager to learn, she enjoys jumping into new challenges and gaining hands-on experience across every corner of marketing. Addison is especially excited to grow within an environment that values education, collaboration, and producers learning from producers, and she is grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the impactful work of the National Grazing Lands Coalition.
Outside of work and class, you’ll most likely find Addison spending time with family and friends, traveling whenever she gets the chance, or hanging out with her dog, Indigo. She loves designing brands and T-shirts, getting creative in the kitchen with cooking and baking, and never turns down a coffee or ice cream run, bonus points if you offer both.
