Alex attended Texas A&M University, earning her B.S. in Rangeland Ecology and Management, and went on to Texas A&M University-Kingsville for a M.S. degree in Range and Wildlife Management. Alex has served in federal, state, and non-profit roles focused on grazing lands conservation, conservation planning, and program development. Working alongside landowners, agencies, and partner organizations has strengthened her commitment to practical, collaborative strategies that support both healthy rangelands and the long-term sustainability of ranching operations. Her expertise centers on strengthening working lands while honoring the values and livelihoods of rural communities.
